LATAM Product Specialist (Alarm system)

This Technical-Commercial Product Specialist role focuses on the promotion, configuration, and support of Dahua security products with focus on alarm systems. Ideal candidates should bring a strong background in alarm systems, with experience in top brands like Ajax / Risco / DSC / Bosch / Honeywell / Paradox. Candidates with an established network in Chile and LATAM in the industry are highly preferred.

Responsibilities:

1. Eco-Partner Development: Collaborate with internal team to build and maintain relationships with eco-partners for Dahua’s alarm solutions.
2. Product Demonstration: Showcase new product features to channel customers, highlighting benefits and competitive advantages.
3. Product Selection & Configuration: Provide guidance on product selection and configure solutions tailored to each customer’s needs.
4. Technical Support: Troubleshoot and resolve customer technical issues related to alarm systems and related software.
5. Training & Knowledge Sharing: Conduct training sessions for technicians within partner channels and customers to enhance technical knowledge and product expertise.
6. Sales Collaboration: Partner closely with the sales team to develop comprehensive sales strategies that address specific customer requirements in Chile and LATAM.
7. Market Feedback & Marketing Collaboration: Work with the marketing team to promote Dahua products and gather valuable market insights for continuous improvement.

Requirements:

1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, IT, or related field (preferred).
2. Experience: 3+ years in electronic security (alarms systems), including 2 years as pre-sales, technical support, or product management roles.
3. Proficiency in relevant software for these systems.
4. Technical Expertise:
Hands-on experience with leading brands.
Proficiency in security software/platforms.
Knowledge of networking, IP cameras, alarms and system integration.
Provided experience with brands such as Ajax / Risco / DSC / Bosch / Honeywell / Paradox is considered a plus.
5. Soft Skills: Strong negotiation, presentation, commercial and problem-solving abilities.
6. Language: Intermediate/advanced English.
